  (2 Timothy 4:2)

1. "Preach the Word!" the Higher Powers
   Have commanded in this day.
   What a privilege is ours
   That divine charge to obey.
   "Preach the Word!" the meek ones teaching,
   Helping them to understand
   Kingdom truths, and keep on preaching
   On the streets throughout the land.
2. "Preach the Word!" yes, preach in season,
   Always ready to impart
   To each one who asks a reason
   For the hope within your heart.
   "Preach the Word!" tho opposition
   Makes it out of season seem;
   Faithful be to your commission;
   Trust in God, who is supreme.

   Oh, how vital that all hear!
   Wickedness is fast increasing
   And the telic end draws near.
   "Preach the Word!" and bring salvation
   To yourself and others too;

   神のそのご命令に従うことは、
   我々 （人間） にとって何という特権であろう。
   「み言葉を宣べ伝えよ！」　柔和な者たちを教え、
   王国の真理の理解を助け、
   あまねく全地の巷で
   宣べ伝え続けよ。
2. 「み言葉を宣べ伝えよ！」　旬なときに宣べ伝えよ。
   あなた （信者） の心になぜ希望があるのかと
   尋ねる人すべてに
   いつも進んで み言葉を分け与えよ。
   「み言葉を宣べ伝えよ！」　反対に遭い、
   時期外れに思えようとも。
   努めを忠実に果たし、
   至高の神に頼りなさい。
3. 「み言葉を宣べ伝えよ！」　たゆまず宣べ伝えよ。
   すべての人が聞くことは何と重要な （生死に関わる） ことか。
   悪は急速に増え広がり、
   神の目的通り （世の）終わりが近づいている。
   「み言葉を宣べ伝えよ！」　あなた自身とほかの人に
   救いをもたらしなさい。
   「み言葉を宣べ伝えよ！」　エホバのみ名は
   必ず立証されるから。
