1.
Waken, and gird on strength, O Zion!
In beauteous garments now be dressed.
Jerusalem, you holy city,
You shall no longer be oppressed.
No more shall come the cruel invader,
Uncircumcised in you to dwell.
Lovers of truth alone shall enter,
That they of God's great love may tell.

2.
Jerusalem, rise and be seated
Upon the throne, not on the ground.
Loosen your hands; shine forth in glory.
God will your enemies confound.
As you were once sold just for nothing,
Repurchased without price you'll be.
'And for no other reason,' God says,
'But that you may bring praise to me?'

3.
O look how comely on the mountains
Are feet of all those who now bring
Good news of peace in forming Zion,
"Your God Jehovah now is King!"
Listen, O Zion, to your watchmen;
In unison they raise the voice,
For face to face your God they're seeing,
With them let us in Jah rejoice!
